Der gesamte Aufenthalt in der Berghütte war eine 10/10. Die Gastgeber sind unglaublich freundlich und warmherzig. Man wird mit einer Vielzahl an Snacks und bei Wunsch auch richtigen Mahlzeiten empfangen. Ich empfehle euch das Frühstück unbedingt zu probieren, es war total lecker. Die Kommunikation verläuft einfach und zuverlässig. Bei unserer Anreise hatten wir erst mit Google Maps etwas Probleme, da er uns einen falschen Weg langgeführt hat. Am Ende konnten wir aber dank der schnellen Antworten der Gastgeber den Weg finden, Trotz verschiedenen Sprachen könnten wir via Google Übersetzer problemlos sprechen und gemeinsam lachen.. :)
Die Hütte ist sehr abgelegen, dennoch wird es euch an nichts fehlen. Es gibt fließendes Wasser, Strom und Internet. Ein Ofen hält euch auch bei Kälte warm. Die Aussicht ist unbezahlbar. Wir sind extra zu Sonnenaufgang aufgestanden und die wunderschöne Aussicht auf die Berge zu genießen. Alles ist sauber und man merkt mit wie viel Herz die Gastgeber die Hütte gebaut und eingerichtet haben.
Wir haben seit Ewigkeiten nicht mehr so ruhig und ausgeruht geschlafen wie hier. Das absolute Highlight unserer gesamten Reise durch Bosnien-Herzegowina. Wir hoffen in Zukunft nochmal hierher kommen zu können. Lasst euch diese tolle Unterkunft nicht entgehen!!

Once you arrive, you completely forget about the half-hour drive along the gravel road! We stayed for two nights in a lovely little chalet with amazing views of the mountains. It's the perfect place to relax, enjoy nature and go hiking.
But what really makes this place special are the hosts. They are incredibly warm and welcoming, and we really enjoyed chatting with them. For a little extra, they also bring you delicious homemade meals. You almost feel like part of the family!
We had two wonderful days here and would happily come back.
Nothing really! Just be aware that you're staying in the middle of nowhere, which is part of the charm. The road up is a long, bumpy gravel road, so take your time and drive slowly. We managed perfectly well with our little Škoda, so you definitely don't need a 4x4. Just don't expect a smooth paved road!

We loved our short stay at Vikendica Jana. Our host, Zorica, was very welcoming, generous and a great cook. We stayed in a traditional hut; it was clean and the beds were comfy. The views from the property were stunning. We are cycling the Trans Dinarica and this accommodation is perfectly situated for it. We are happy to recommend you stay here.
