The villa is situated in a quiet alley in the traditional village of Prines, which has several tavernas and a good community feel. The kind and helpful hosts were very generous and left an amazing basket of freshly picked organic vegetables and fruit from their garden. The house was very clean and comfortable with modern facilities and the small pool was great for cooling down in the sunshine. The pool was cleaned every day and the garden pots watered by the host. Prines was a good base for exploring both Chania and Rethymnon which was very close by. Parking was easy and just a 2 minute walk away. Nice pebble beach for swimming at Gerani just a few minutes drive away. Small shop in the village and pharmacy.

Everything feels modern, luxurious, and exceptionally well maintained.
The kitchen deserves special mention. It is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, including a huge refrigerator with an ice maker, a spacious freezer, and even a drinking water filtration system, so there is no need to buy bottled water.
One of the biggest highlights was the outstanding professional outdoor gas BBQ. It is large enough to cook 2–3 kg of meat or fish at the same time and was fully supplied with gas by our incredibly generous hosts.
