We had a spontaneous stay at Polbarrow and couldn’t have asked for a warmer welcome! Cathy and Will were fantastic, friendly hosts and made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived.
The bedrooms were spotless, comfortable and beautifully kept. We ate locally and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We’ll definitely be returning soon. Thank you so much, Cathy and Will, for making our stay so lovely!

Easy going with great hosts. It had everything I needed for a short stay and close to the South West Coast Path.

This place is a little Gem. Wonderful location, very comfortable bed. Owners were superb. Will come again.

It was a clean newly furnished room on the upper floor of the farm house above the owners living accommodation.
The headboard and slatted base was very squeaky every time you moved all through night on the left hand side of the bed. The mattress was not forgiving after a long days walking and there was only one bedside table and no kettle in the room as it didn’t fit to fill with water under the basin sink as advised by the male proprietor.
Instead you had to get dressed to go down to the owners lounge area to get hot water for a hot drink. .
The shower towels were very course and the chair stained in the room let the new property down.
On leaving the property in the morning, the parking area for clients vehicles had several piles of dog excrement between our car and a German persons car by my passenger door which my husband walked in so this was not a good start to the day visiting the area.
Whilst we appreciate they have
farm dogs, if you have guests you should be mindful of where the dogs are allowed to toilet if you’re inviting paying guests to stay . Farm or no farm. You wouldn’t allow your livestock to soil public areas so this let the property down greatly which was a shame as the husband was very welcoming .
