As our son was having major surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital, we were left having to find accommodation so our family of 6 could stay together the day before surgery and so our family were close to the hospital for a few days after. This property was in the perfect location for us! A local shop is literally a few minutes walk away. Both Kings Cross and Camden market are very easily accessible. There’s also a lot of cabs in the area, making commuting even easier. You can also get a parking permit from the host, which was massively appreciated as parking in London is very expensive.
The property had everything we needed (accept a hair dryer) and more! Extra towels and linen were provided, and some cleaning products were also available so we could keep the property clean easily. The WIFI is also really good - which our children were very happy about!
The hosts even messaged me to check in on our son’s surgery, which was unexpected and massively appreciated. They also left bottles of water for us which was really thoughtful.
We know there will be further surgeries in the future so I will be hoping there is availability then as we would definitely return.
I would definitely recommend this property to other families in a situation similar to ours.
Bleach in the soap dispenser
The front door was very hard to lock from the inside, so it could literally be pushed open unless someone locked it from the outside.
The sofa bed has a bar through the middle making it a bit uncomfortable after a couple of nights.
