- Free public street parking is available around the house. I don't actually recommend doing this if you can avoid it, but I was able to park a 15-foot U-Haul moving truck there, and better still, my room happened to have a good view of the truck so that I could keep an eye on it. Nothing happened to the truck, thankfully, but if you need a place to park a moving truck overnight, I highly recommend finding a secured parking lot.
- The value for money was excellent.
- The host, Chris, was very friendly, but be aware that I stayed during his last few days at the property, he is no longer the owner of the property, and by the time you read this, he will no longer be at the property. The house has actually been owned by someone else for the past few months, and I cannot tell you anything about what that person will be like.
- The property is a beautiful late-19th-century house with a lot of character.
- There is working AC in the rooms in the form of window-mounted units.
- WiFi is provided, and it seems to work great.
- I found the bed to be reasonably comfortable.
- There is a well-equipped kitchen available for guests to use, including a stove and a full-sized refrigerator. Not only that, but some basic food and drink was also provided for the morning.
- Umbrellas are provided by the entrance, including a couple of very large ones.
- The house is over a century old, and while it does seem to have been well-maintained, there are certain things you have to be a bit more careful about.
- The rooms are upstairs and there are no disability accommodations of any kind; therefore, I do not recommend this place to anyone with mobility needs.
- The parking rules on the streets around the house are rather convoluted: during the summer, you can't park on one side of the street on Mondays, and you can't park on the other side of the street on Wednesdays; and during other times, the side of the street you can park on changes from day to day.
- Because you are booking individual bedrooms in a house, the bathrooms are shared (there are two of them). I don't mind that, but I understand that there are people who do.

For being vintage, the property was well-maintained and lovely. The host Chris was communicative and a delight to chat with. I really appreciated the high degree of cleanliness throughout the house, particularly the shared spaces, and the breakfast options. It was rainy while I was in Erie, but it made my room and the house all the more cozy!
No complaints at all!

The host is very cordial. And the bed-and-breakfast was quite lovely. It had a beautiful vintage look and it was scenic. The rooms were comfortable; as were the beds. The inn was clean and tidy. We had no issues or problems. We would be happy to stay there again and recommend it to any friends or family.

Chris was incredibly kind and helpful from start to finish. From standing outside helping with the parking situation on arrival, helping to get suitcases upstairs, and offering that we could call or text if we needed anything at all, we felt very welcomed and cared for. The place was cozy and comfortable, and the host is incredibly nice!
The street did have a bit of noice with some cantankerous kids, and incidentally there were fireworks going off a couple blocks away due to some baseball game or something that night. Hopefully you won’t be so unlucky lol.
