Location was as expected, nice, close to the sea (to public beach where you don't need to pay anything if you don't want to is 7-8 minutes walk).
Apartment is spacious and we have all necesites during our stay (water in the fridge, towels, linens, toilet paper, household supplies and cleaning products, fully equipped kitchen, air-conditioning in every room...)
The biggest disappointment, and the reason our stay was completely ruined, was the lack of cleanliness.
It honestly looked like the apartment had not been properly cleaned for a very long time. Within the first five minutes, I was shocked by the amount of dust on every surface and in every corner. Literally everything we touched was dirty – the floors, table, chairs, furniture, and other surfaces. The entire apartment felt neglected. This is simply unacceptable, especially considering the price we paid.
We informed the host in advance that we expected to arrive around 7–8 PM, but we arrived only about 1–2 hours earlier, around 5:30–6:00 PM. When I contacted the host about the condition of the apartment, his initial response was to blame our earlier arrival. He also claimed that I was exaggerating. However, after I sent him photos showing the dirt, he admitted that I was right and said he would consider changing the cleaning company.
To be honest, this apartment looked as if it hadn't seen a cleaner in a long time. Even if cleaning had started earlier, it would have taken many hours to bring the apartment to an acceptable standard. Some furniture clearly needed deep cleaning, especially the white sofa, which had several large, visible stains. Off course , we washed every dish, fork and spoon before use! Our arrival one or two hours earlier was not the reason for the apartment's condition. There wasn't even any sign that cleaning had begun when we entered.
The mattresses were also not very comfortable for sleeping.
Another issue was that there were ants in the apartment.
At one point, I seriously considered asking for a partial refund. We were traveling with two young children, and it was extremely stressful having to constantly tell them not to touch anything because everything felt dirty. I cleaned as many essential surfaces as I could myself, and we tried to spend as little time in the apartment as possible.
