What a beautiful little gem to stay! Located less than 10 minutes drive Kenmare for shops and restaurants - although there is a fantastic restaurant 3 minutes drive or 25mins walk called the Boat House.
The house is very well equipped with everything you might need for a short stay, set in a super peaceful and quiet location.
The host was very friendly, welcoming and helpful with local suggestions.
The stairs are quirky but completely manageable.

Es ist ein perfekter Ort für Ruhe und Entspannung. Das Haus liegt etwas ausserhalb und ohne Auto geht nicht viel. Es sind 6km bis in den Ort welcher aber alles bietet was man benötigt. Von Kultur über Geschichte bis bin zu guten Essen. Das Haus ist schön und zweckmässig eingerichtet und bietet alles was man braucht. Ein Highlight ist die Dusche....wunderbar und guter Wasserdruck. Nicht Usus in Irland. Kleine Abstriche gibt es, sieh beim "negativen". Dennoch, ein Unterkunft welche absolut zu empfehlen ist. Kommunikation war super und proaktiv.
Ich schicke voraus, ich jammere jetzt auf sehr hohen Niveau. Dies kommt da ich im Bereich von Schreinereien arbeite. Es ist sauber und gut aber es macht immer wieder den Eindruck, dass es nicht fertig ist. Von aussen Top, von innen hat es ein paar Schönheitsmängel. Die Küche ist sauber und zweckmässig aber war schon mal verbaut worden. Der Boden ist schön aber nicht ganz so schön verlegt, was schade ist. Die Treppe sollte aus meiner Sicht unbedingt angepasst werden. Ich bin 1.92 Meter gross und hatte meine "Mühe" rauf und runter zu gehen. Lobenswert war die Info vom Vermieter in Bezug darauf, also TOP. Es scheint als ist das Haus noch nicht fertig....zum Glück konnten wir unten ausladen, hätte mit den Koffern nicht hoch und runter gehen wollen. Der Nachbar war leider nicht ganz so "freundlich". Zumindest beim Daraufhinweisen wo wir zu parkieren hätten. Aber wie gesagt, Jammern auf ganz hohen Niveau.

Remote and quiet location although not far from Kenmare town. Waking up to the surrounds was a delight.
The stairs were too large and steep leading down to the bedrooms. We kept our suitcases at the top as managing the stairs with cases was dangerous.
