Charming villa 15min walking distance from Aups’ old city center. We especially enjoyed the outdoor setting with a large terrace, pool, table tennis, badminton and petanque for our reunion of friends with kids.
The interior is unique - liked to have a place with character. Kitchen is on the smaller side for a larger group but fully equipped. The four bedrooms are all of good size and with fantastic bedlinen. One bedroom downstairs (the separate one) has no curtains yet.. Everything was very clean.
You feel that everything has been newly renovated and still needs to be “broken in”. The house has just been equipped with aircon which was a big plus, even though there have been some technical issues during our stay. Helene has been a fantastic concierge! Excellent communication, we could check in earlier and she explained us everything in such a friendly manner. When the coffee machine didn’t work, she brought a new one within half an hour. When the aircon didn’t work in one room, she managed to get the repair guy over - on a Saturday (he unfortunately didn’t manage to repair it then… but we were ok during the night). All that made our stay even better!
The only negative thing (let’s not count the aircon issue given these are brand-new and maybe needed a last kick to run properly) we experienced was the smell. In the main house maybe from the cleaning products? And in the separate bedroom from the technical room behind? I think the house is newly renovated and needs the final finish while living it. Worthwhile to look into it to make it even more beautiful
