My family enjoyed a wonderful stay at Portland Pool House. The home is clean and the location is very close to Old Port. There is free off-street parking for one car. The beds are very comfortable. The towels are large and comfortable. And the couch in the living room area is comfortable. The home is nicely decorated, and there is a nice porch area and the pool. (We did not use either, as it was raining when we were there.) Adam was responsive and great to deal with, and we had no issues getting into the home. (Do be aware that it is difficult to see the house numbers from the street if you arrive after dark, but we found the right location easily once I exited the car and walked down the sidewalk.) I highly recommend Portland Pool House.
The chairs seem low for the dining room table (or perhaps the table is high), but we did not eat a meal there so it didn't bother us. It would be nice to have a hand towel in the upstairs bathroom. Also, be aware that there is a full bath upstairs where the bedrooms are and a half bath on the main level. (The description said 2 BA).

Nice location close to downtown. Great house with its own pool. Our best stay of our Maine vacation.
