the bedroom was small with an excess of furniture and not enough power points and mirrors lighting for a female guest

Location, decor, cleanliness.
Room rather small for the price, a dressing table would have been useful, dinner in the evening was very disappointing for the price, if you'd been fell walking all day, you certainly wouldn't find the meal substantial enough. Staff, apart from the breakfast waitress, weren't very welcoming, including the landlord. Didn't like having to order breakfast the night before, and the warm dishes had been stood for a while even though we were always on time.
