The pub and restaurant and
Food was good and the staff were very friendly
The accommodation/rooms were very noisy. You could hear the main door banging and the guests leaving and entering their rooms
The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor and the shower kept falling off the stand so had to hold it when showering
Could not watch Netflix or BBC iPlayer or any apps at all during the stay , complained to manager and was told it was a privacy issue and nothing they could do about it

The rooms are really nicely decorated and have an iron and an ironing board which was handy and tea and coffee facilities. The bed was comfortable and I also like that there was a bright light above the bed as many hotel rooms are so dark.
The room needs some hooks. There was nowhere to hang my coat or dressing gown either in the room or bathroom. And only one round mirror in poor light in the room. Add a full length mirror. One sachet of regular coffee and one sachet of decaf was a bit stingy when there were two of us in the room.

Really lovely rooms. Finished to a very high standard, with a nice tea and coffee facility for the morning. The pub next-door is lovely for a bite to eat.
