Having the dome be more remote and removed from light pollution made the stars spectacular and you could even see part of the milky way. The amenities blew away my expectations. There was a microwave, fridge, multiple sleeping options, hammocks, games, watercolor, puzzles, a projector, an outdoor fire pit and that's not even everything!! Instructions were clear when it came to expectations and they had fans and heating blankets depending on what time of year you go!
The only thing that could have made the stay more enjoyable were the doors. We tried opening the door upon arrival for about five minutes before being able to get in. What ended up working was to quickly put the code in and turn the lock in either direction while turning the handle simultaneously multiple times. Then when we attempted to check out in the morning the door wouldn't lock.
