About this house rental
Our family home in Brittany, a few minutes' walk from the River Rance.
190 m² sleeping up to 12, in a quiet hamlet in La Vicomté-sur-Rance, with local shops 2 minutes away. A house built for long tables and for two families travelling together.
GROUND FLOOR
An open living area of over 60 m², bright and level with the terrace. The lounge is arranged around the wood-burning insert and the TV. The fitted kitchen, with its central island, opens onto the dining area and its large table. A utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A shower room with stone basin, walk-in shower and WC.
FIRST FLOOR
Four bedrooms, including a master suite with en-suite shower room and dressing room, and one bedroom with a desk for anyone who needs to work. These four bedrooms sleep 8 and are open for every stay. A fifth bedroom, set up as a games room with extra beds, is opened for groups of more than 8. Family bathroom with double basin, shower and bathtub, plus a separate WC.
OUTSIDE
A south-facing terrace of 50 m² with garden furniture, parasol and gas plancha: this is where summer evenings happen. The garden is fully enclosed over 500 m², safe for children and pets alike. Private parking for 3 cars, and an EV charging point available on request.
AROUND THE HOUSE
The towpath starts a few minutes' walk away: follow the Rance down to the locks, on foot or by bike. Dinan and its medieval old town are 10 minutes away. Saint-Malo intra-muros and Dinard about 35 minutes, Mont-Saint-Michel about an hour. The beaches of the Emerald Coast and Cap Fréhel are easy day trips. Saint-Suliac, one of France's most beautiful villages, is a quarter of an hour away.
GOOD TO KNOW
Up to 8 guests, four bedrooms are open. Above 8 and up to 12, the fifth bedroom is added, with a supplement of €25 per night per extra guest. Children under one year old are not counted. Pets welcome, please let us know when booking. Bed linen and towels provided. Wifi throughout the house.
