October House Holiday Cabin, a single-storey cottage, consists of two bedrooms including a king-size with en-suite basin and WC, and a bunk room, served by a family shower room, sleeping a total of four guests. The property also features an open-plan living room including a kitchen with a electric oven and hob, microwave, toaster, fridge/freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, coffee percolator, a dining area and a sitting area with electric fire and TV. Outside there is off-road parking available and a enclosed garden with lawn, patio and furniture. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking (smoking permitted outside). Shop 2.3 miles, pub 0.6 miles. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. Damerham near Fordingbridge is a welcoming retreat on the fringes of the magnificent New Forest National Park.
The Neighborhood:
The pretty village of Damerham can be found on the Hampshire side of the borders with Dorset and Wiltshire, and lies in an attractive Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, through which flows the River Allen. Just three miles away is the attractive town of Fordingbridge, and a short drive will bring you to the edge of the New Forest National Park, dotted with quaint villages with its swathes of purple heather and woodlands, and home to the famous wild ponies. An easy drive north takes you to the ancient city of Salisbury with its beautiful cathedral; or alternatively take a trip south to the glorious seaside resort of Bournemouth, with its lively shopping centre and wonderful Blue Flag beaches. An ideal village base for exploring these three picturesque counties.
