Mount Pleasant is an exquisitely designed Grade II Listed townhouse is in the heart of Stow on the Wold, a thriving Cotswolds market town.

With three king size beds and a pull out twin room, the house comfortably sleeps six, with option on request for 2 additional infants. The house is full of character, with exposed beams and beautiful Cotswold stone, together with two private gardens. The house is a balance of original features with a contemporary feel, and furnished to a superior standard.

Located in the historic heart of Stow-on-the-Wold, Mount Pleasant is an idyllic base for your Cotswolds adventures. Enjoy the charm of this famous market town while being just a stone's throw from the luxury of Daylesford, the picturesque bridges of Bourton-on-the-Water, and the bustling streets of Moreton-in-Marsh.

Step through the front door into a spacious and welcoming hallway. To your right, you’ll find a practical utility room, complete with a washing machine and tumble dryer—perfect for longer stays. To the left sits a beautifully appointed kitchen, fully equipped featuring a gas range, bean-to-cup coffee machine, Miele dishwasher, and a wide range of cookware. It’s a space designed with both convenience and enjoyment in mind.

As you move towards the rear of the property, the home opens into a stunning dining room, centred around a large oak table that comfortably seats eight—ideal for gathering together over memorable meals. Just beyond, the house flows into a cosy sitting room, where a fireplace creates a warm and inviting space to unwind after a day exploring the Cotswolds.

Heading upstairs to the first floor, the sense of space continues. On the right is the master king-size bedroom, a 4 poster bed and elegant retreat featuring a generous en-suite with a large walk-in shower and large wardrobe.

Back on the landing, you’ll find a beautiful family bathroom complete with a striking roll-top bathtub—perfect for a relaxing soak. Opposite is a second king-size bedroom, offering plenty of space and lovely views over the garden.

Climb a further flight of stairs to the top floor, where you’ll discover two additional bedrooms. The first is a large and versatile room with a daybed that can be extended to sleep two guests comfortably. Walking through, you’ll find another inviting bedroom with a luxurious king-size bed, creating a peaceful retreat tucked away at the top of the house.

PLEASE NOTE; as the bedrooms connect, the set up may not be suitable for all guests. The stairs in the property are a bit steep, so please take care when walking up and down. Please ask for further information as necessary.

The outdoor areas are just as impressive as the interiors. The property boasts two private gardens, offering both style and space to relax. One garden features a contemporary outdoor dining setup, complete with a modern barbecue, fridge, and a large round table—perfect for long summer evenings and al fresco dining in a private, enclosed setting. To the rear, a beautifully maintained lawned garden provides a second space to unwind, with comfortable modern seating and a large table that accommodates up to eight guests with ease.

There is space for one car to fit on the drive however, there is ample forth of free parking available on the street.

Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the cottage sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. Please try to give as much notice as possible with your arrival time and update on the day with any changes / delays.

Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.

Cot & high chair available if requested for additional £15 per item or £25 for both. (Please note, no linen is supplied with the travel cot).

Well behaved pets (max 2) are welcome on request only, to enable us to determine if suitable for the property. Please give details when making your booking. There is an additional fee of £30 applied at time of booking.

Guests will enjoy private access to the whole townhouse, including all living spaces and both gardens, ensuring a comfortable and uninterrupted stay.

Up to two well behaved dogs are allowed but must not go upstairs.

The property capacity is for 6 to ensure plenty of space for all guests, however an additional 2 infants can be accommodated. However please be aware that the top floor has interconnecting bedrooms with one bedroom containing a trundle bed.

No smoking or vaping in the property. No parties allowed.

Mind your head on the low beams and be careful on the staircases.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
