About this house rental
Enjoy a comfortable stay in this mountain home with a view from every room of several Catskill peaks. The hill-side property features complete privacy and quiet, surrounded by woods, with 9 acres of to explore. There is a beautiful spring-ped pond with a swimming dock. Our favorite features are the home's south-facing deck to enjoy morning coffee or sunsets, a massive wood-fired stone fireplace, and a hot tub that is cleaned and serviced for each stay.
Located in Margaretville with restaurants, cafes, and all the essentials just 4 minutes down the road, the location is also ideal for access to Catskill outdoor adventures. We are just 20 minutes from skiing (Belleayre and Plattekill) and many hiking trails, fishing, and paddle sports. We are under 3 hours from NYC, perfect for a weekend getaway.
With two queen bedrooms, two twin beds, and two full bathrooms, and a fuly finished basement with a pool table and TV room, there is plenty of room to spread out. It’s a cozy space that stays warm and inviting, with a large stone fireplace, perfect for relaxing after a day out hiking or skiing, or just taking it easy inside. Whether you’re here for a quick getaway or a longer stay, the house has everything you need, including a fully stocked kitchen. We hope you feel at home and can unwind in our private escape.

Absolutely beautiful property and very well maintained. The grounds and the forest and the pond and large grassy area outside was well enjoyed by the kids and the house internally was very spacious with a great kitchen. We will definitely look to return during another season. Big thanks for the hosts who were very accommodating and responsive.

Stayed here with a small group of friends for New Years and we absolutely loved the house! We were looking for a chill getaway for the holiday and that is exactly what we got. The house came stocked with pretty much everything we needed from towels to kitchen wears and had plenty of games and things to do. The guys enjoyed the pool table downstairs and we all enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace in the living room. The beds were very comfortable and the rooms were cozy. Neil and Erin were great hosts and we hope to make it back out that way again!

We stayed at this property in October when our nephew got married at the Margaretville Mountain Inn. The proximity of the house to the venue was perfect. The house is well stocked and very comfortable. We enjoyed the deck, the beautiful Mountain View, the hot tub and the pool table. The host was very responsive and accommodating. The house would be an ideal spot for a winter getaway being so close to many ski resorts and in the summer to take advantage of the huge pond on the property.

The house is beautiful and spacious and the grounds are lovely. We enjoyed making a fire in the fireplace as well as in the fire pit outside. Neil and Erin were great at communicating and responsive to messages. The house was well stocked with everything you could need. I hope we have an opportunity to return and highly recommend.
