Torre Pendio B&B is a historic building dating back to the 15th century. It takes its name from a Norman tower that was once part of the city’s old perimeter walls, which no longer exist. Incorporated into the building, it has been tastefully renovated and is one of a kind. Its authentic and original style is in keeping with the character of the area; our rooms feature all modern comforts and are furnished in the traditional Apulian style. The property is complemented by a private courtyard where guests can relax in complete tranquility, as well as a small breakfast room featuring a corner where guests can admire our local products, such as Coratina extra virgin olive oil and various wines from local wineries. Torre Pendio is located right in the heart of the historic center, surrounded by various points of historical and cultural interest, such as the Mother Church of Santa Maria Maggiore and the Church of Santa Maria Greca, which houses a medieval crypt where the remains of Luisa Piccarreta are kept. There is no shortage of restaurants, trattorias, and bars where you can savor our traditional cuisine. Our location is very convenient, allowing you to reach other points of interest—such as the Alta Murgia Park and Castel del Monte—in just a few minutes. Other cities such as Bari, Trani, Altamura, Gravina, and Matera are easily accessible and are only 30 to 40 minutes away from us.
