I stayed in a Superior Double Room. The room was reasonably sized — not particularly large, but bright, comfortable and very well organised, making good use of the available space. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, as were the pillows, and the bathroom was practical and comfortable. I also appreciated the good lighting and the mirror, which was a useful detail when getting ready.
Two details in particular really stood out to me. Having an iron in the room was incredibly convenient, especially when travelling and arriving with clothes that have been packed in a suitcase.
The minibar was another great surprise. It was extremely well stocked, almost like having a little convenience store in the room, with a wide selection of drinks and snacks readily available. After a long day of travelling or exploring the city, being able to simply open the minibar and find something to eat or drink without having to order or go out was fantastic.
These thoughtful and practical details, together with the very comfortable bed and the bright, well-organised room, made my stay very comfortable overall.
Communication with the staff was sometimes difficult, as it had to be done mainly through a translation app on a phone. While the staff were always willing to help, I found this a little inconvenient, especially when trying to resolve specific situations.
Considering that Hanoi welcomes so many international visitors, I think the hotel could benefit from having at least one English-speaking staff member available, or from providing additional English-language training for the team. This would make communication much easier and improve the overall experience for international guests.
