If you're planning to stay here mainly to enjoy the sea and explore the area, be aware that getting around without a car is extremely difficult. To reach the beach, you have to walk down a steep rocky path of about 500 meters. It takes around 20–25 minutes to get from the house to the beach, and the walk back uphill takes well over 30 minutes, leaving you exhausted and drenched in sweat. The path is also quite dangerous and feels unsafe.
Also, if you're planning to cook during your stay, be aware that the kitchen is not properly equipped. We struggled to cook even a simple pasta meal. We informed the host about the issue, but they didn't seem very concerned.
Because my children have food allergies, we had to prepare all of our meals at the house, which made the lack of proper kitchen equipment especially difficult for us.
Another issue is that this information was not disclosed—or was presented in a misleading way—when we booked the property. The house is located on a very steep hillside, making access to the beach quite challenging. However, if you have a car, this won't be a problem.
The sea and the beach are beautiful, but everything sold at the beach is extremely expensive. There are nicer and more affordable places in the area.
Among the Balkan countries, Montenegro is by far the most expensive. We also visited Kosovo and Albania, where prices were much more reasonable. Montenegro feels unnecessarily expensive. I couldn't believe that 1 kg of grapes costs €10.
Transportation is difficult, and the country is very expensive.
