We spent a night at Les Charmilles in our drive back to the UK and absolutely loved it. The location is very convenient to reach Calais/Le Shuttle (one hour by car) and close to the coast and nice villages. The house and surroundings are beautiful and very peaceful. Our dog had a great time exploring the wonderful grounds and nearby woods. Our host, Mélanie, was extremely kind and helpful, and gave us recommendations for restaurants. The room was very clean and beautifully decorated, and Mélanie had thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. A perfect host! The breakfast was excellent too and overall it was a fantastic experience. A highly recommendable place to stay.
