An 8-night stay in a true oasis of peace and quiet. An incredibly relaxing place, where everything around you feels so calm that it almost seems as if time has stopped.
The property is away from the crowds of the resorts, about 2.5 km from the nearest village/resort area and around 4 km from the nearest beach. For us, this was actually one of its biggest advantages: after a day spent exploring the island, we could come back to a quiet, secluded and very pleasant place.
Each bungalow has its own very spacious terrace, perfect for enjoying peaceful mornings or evenings. The rooms are small, but tastefully furnished and very well organised, so despite their size, we never felt that anything was missing.
As a few small suggestions for extra comfort, I would add some wall lights or bedside lamps with warm light for those who like to read before going to sleep, a few more towel hooks in the bathroom, and a small shelf or holder for personal items inside the shower. These are only minor details, though, and they did not affect the comfort of our stay at all.
Another advantage is the large supermarket located just down the road towards the main street. It is very well stocked and you can find practically everything you need for breakfast, snacks or for preparing a meal at the property.
The property also has a large barbecue area and a fully equipped outdoor summer kitchen, with everything you need to prepare a hot meal or a fresh barbecue. This was a big plus for us, especially on evenings when we preferred to stay at the property rather than go to the busier tourist areas.
The parking area is spacious and, very pleasantly, shaded by olive trees.
The cleanliness is impeccable. We received a very warm and friendly welcome, and a small issue we had during our stay was handled immediately and with great care. The hosts are extremely discreet, which allowed us to fully enjoy the peace, privacy and freedom of the place throughout our stay.
