Good base for exploring as there are so many trails in this area, good value cost wise, has full cooking facilities and towels etc. Nice open space and garden areas. Very comfortable sofa and bed. Saw many birds of prey, nice trail access to back of property up onto the hill behind and a quiet location as not many other houses around it.
Curtain pole fell down in main bedroom, not a huge issue as it happened the last night of my stay and the management seemed keen to sort it.

lovely clean and peaceful place and helpful host that just leaves you to it but can message if need anything
great pub a mile away the red lion... amazing food
the only thing I would say is the day bed in the back single bedroom was uncomfortable and couldnt be slept on (maybe ok for a child) but it was fine because there was a double room and another single room so we used those which were very comfortable
