Looked great - was so bad that we actually booked another apartment most of our stay and left early
The property is very spacious.
We booked this apartment for 16 nights.
Bedroom - When we arrived, we noticed damage to the property (including a broken lock on bedroom door). There was no duvet on the bed (spare in wardrobe). We text the hosts to ask for a duvet cover, this was provided that day. When we went to put the duvet in to the cover, we realised that the duvet was covered in blood spatters. We then saw that the frame around the bed was also covered in blood spatters, as were the spare pillows (for which we didn't get pillow covers for, for over a week).
The sheet was too small for the mattress and there is no mattress protector, so every time you move, the sheet moves, and you wake up lying directly on the mattress (like all previous guests). We did ask for a larger bed sheet, this was changed a week in to our stay, but for one the exact same size.
There are no black out curtains or blinds in the bedroom, so it was incredibly light when the sun comes up, disturbing sleep.
Kitchen - There was no washing up liquid, drainer, washing up cloth, tea towel. There is a dishwasher, but only 2 drinking glasses, 1 bowl and only a few knives and forks - meaning that, after one snack, you'd have to put the dishwasher on in order to have more crockery.
There are 2 saucepans - 1 of which is huge, 1 tiny. The tiny one is not compatible with the hob so can't even be used. One pan was unusable as it was very dirty.
Balcony - No table and chairs, so can't sit out. Advert said "beachfront" - it is not!!
Living Room - Broken mirror found behind curtains, along with a dis-used TV. Broken window lock (opens every time the wind blows). Cigarette burns on sofa.
Bathroom - Leaking boiler. Plumber came to fix, but just unplugged it and said "you have hot water" and left. When plugged in (so we could shower), the dripping continued.
