Very disappointing stay. We feel misled by the listing.

The apartment is advertised as soundproof, but the surrounding area is very noisy and you can hear everything from outside. The listing also mentions a private beach, which is misleading. The private beach belongs to a nearby hotel, and guests of this apartment do not have any private beach access. The kitchen was completely unequipped despite the listing claiming otherwise. There was no toaster, microwave, coffee maker, iron or ironing board. There wasn't even basic cooking equipment – only four visible used plastic plates, four forks, four spoons and one small knife. It was impossible to prepare a proper meal. The toilet cistern was broken and had to be opened manually after every flush. The air conditioner was leaking water onto the balcony and above the dining table. We informed the host immediately and even offered to leave the apartment on the first day. She promised several times that she would come and fix everything or send someone, but nobody ever came. We spent the entire day waiting. The next morning we packed our belongings and left. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, and the worst moment was when a cockroach fell from the ceiling onto my head while I was sleeping on the sofa during the night. We were also required to pay everything in cash on arrival, including the parking fee, and no receipt or invoice was issued. We travelled along much of the Albanian coast and this was by far our worst accommodation experience. We left one day early because the apartment did not match the Booking.com description, but the host refused to refund any part of our payment. We felt deceived and would not recommend this property to anyone.
