Is it a villa with 4 stars rating? NO! Misrepresentation, poor conditions, (very) many mosquitos

Location: Barao San Joao is not far from many nice places and beaches (but not too close) The place is in / close to a forest (but close to trees burnt by apparently recent fires) No television, good to stay with your kids

"Villa" + rated 4 dots by booking + 1 review with a rating of 10: misrepresentation of the place! Lacking appliances included in the description: no dishwasher (useful with family!), no microwave oven Poor conditions of floors, walls, electicity plugs, furnitures, mosquitos net Not very clean, e.g. mosquito net over the bed were dusty, the floor in poor condition was not easy to clean Ants in the house (it's in the nature, but there are remedies!), unbelievable high number of mosquitos during the night and poor solutions provided (mosquito nets with holes and dust, electric rackets working poorly) Electric plugs in bad conditions are potentially dangerous with kids One bed had a very poor mattress (bending significantly), the pillows were the cheapest you can find in ikea, very uncomfortable!

Loved the peace, privacy and lovely villa

Amazing location in the woods, super helpful host, wonderful villa. Really enjoyed our stay. Having a car is very helpful as the location is a bit remote but no problem getting taxis to pick up or drop off, around €12 to Lagos from the villa.
