Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden uns jederzeit wieder für dieses Apartment entscheiden. Es hat unsere Erwartungen sogar übertroffen und war für uns genau die richtige Wahl.
Besonders schön war die Lage mitten in der Altstadt. Cafés, Restaurants und Supermärkte sind direkt in der Nähe, und trotzdem liegt das Apartment wunderbar ruhig – fernab vom Trubel. Genau das haben wir gesucht: authentisches griechisches Leben, mitten in der Stadt und nicht in einem großen Hotelkomplex. Die Terrasse mit dem wunderschönen Blick auf die Kirche und die Burg war dabei unser absolutes Highlight. Morgens einen Kaffee dort zu trinken und abends noch ein Glas Wein zu genießen, war einfach herrlich.
Auch die Aufteilung über zwei Etagen war für uns als Familie ideal. Jeder hatte seinen eigenen Bereich, und oben hatten wir unser eigenes kleines Reich mit Bad und direktem Zugang zur Terrasse.
Zum Strand sind wir jeden Tag gemütlich etwa 20 Minuten gelaufen. Das war für uns überhaupt kein Problem, denn die Altstadtlage war uns wichtiger. Und so konnten wir jeden Tag einen anderen schönen Abschnitt am Strand entdecken.
Auch die kontaktlose Schlüsselübergabe hat problemlos funktioniert. Eleni war jederzeit über WhatsApp erreichbar und hat sich um jede Frage oder Kleinigkeit sofort gekümmert. Der Kontakt war unkompliziert, freundlich und sehr zuverlässig.
Für uns war es rundum ein perfekter Urlaub, und dieses Apartment hat einen großen Teil dazu beigetragen. Wir können es von Herzen weiterempfehlen und sind sehr dankbar für die schöne Zeit!
Das Apartment ist ideal für alle, die die schöne, alte Umgebung, Spaziergänge zum Strand und die besondere Atmosphäre genießen möchten. Wer eine treppenlose Wohnung oder kurze Wege zum Strand sucht, sollte sich eher für eine andere Unterkunft entscheiden. Für uns war beides überhaupt kein Problem.

The place is brand new freshly renovated. Everything is super clean and new. The apartment has little passthrough living room with fully equipped kitchen as well as the small bedroom on the first floor and then on the second it has the master bedroom with the large terrace overlooking the church. The host is super accommodating and accurate in her communications. The location is in the very heart of the city and all action is just outside the door. In a few words - super nice place - amazing!!! The only little drawback is the parking. There is a big parking lot at the port, costing some 15 EUR/night, but this one gets full by 6 pm. If you are late you can park just outside the appartment at a private hotel parking, but that one will cost you 30 EUR for the 24hrs. Street parking is off limit unless you are supper lucky to get a space. Regardless of this - highly recommended if you are visiting Rethymno.
