Wow. What more can be said. Exceeded our expectations. Spent two nights here and loved every second of our stay. Our hosts were fantastic. Our host Antonis met us in the parking area and helped us carry our luggage to our room. His wife Katerina had stocked the room with everything we needed and beyond. The fridge was fully stocked - something we’ve never experienced before in an Airbnb. We ate at the restaurant the first night which was great (we booked weeks in advance) and cooked the second night with ingredients in the fridge.

We were met by Katrina, our host Antonis's lovely wife, and immediately felt how warm and welcoming she was. She helped us navigate our way from the carpark at the nearby restaurant to our room, a small challenge with some slippery rocks to cross and a bit of water to manoeuvre through, as it was high tide. Katrina didn't speak a lot of English, but it didn't matter in the slightest, we communicated easily and understood each other perfectly.
Our arrival was nothing short of one surprise after another. I'd messaged Antonis while we were collecting our rental car to say we needed to stop by the supermarket and would be a while. He told us to come straight to the property and check the fridge first. It was stocked with genuine thought and generosity, fresh fruit, salad ingredients, cold meats and cheese, drinks, and more, alongside homemade treats in the kitchen and thoughtful little touches throughout the room and bathroom. The bed and pillows were wonderfully comfortable, towels were plentiful, and the whole place was spotless. As Antonis put it himself on our boat trip, guests are already paying a lot to be there, and small things that make people feel welcome don't cost much by comparison, but they clearly mean it, not just say it.
Antonis also runs a boat charter, Milos Sea Adventures, and took us out on a half-day cruise, showing us the dramatic cliffs, beautiful, colourful towns, and taking us into caves and private beaches. We were surprised again with some of Katrina's delicious homemade food, plus drinks along the way.
These are seriously fantastic hosts, and we highly recommend a stay at Salty Splash, ideally paired with a Milos Sea Adventures cruise to see the full splendour of the Milos coastline.
That we had to leave so soon :(

The apartment had everything we needed and was close to the water. Very nice place to go swimming.
The constant stream of tourists walking past & insisting on stopping right in front on front door. Making apartment not private.
