The location is the best part of this place. All tourist sites are within a short 5-10 minute walk.
I didn't like that the room was not cleaned well (dusty). The room has carpet so that didn't help with my allergies. I didn't like the shower because it was already clogged so the shower would get flooded. In order to reduce the flooding, I had to turn on the water only a little and not full pressure. Also, please place the shower head higher as it was too low. I would suggest a trash bin in the room area instead of just the bathroom. In addition, the stairs to the third floor were difficult with luggage as they are spiral stairs. I had to walk up to the third floor and felt the stairs could cause an accident due to the very spiral staircase. An elevator would be nice.

Very narrow spiral stairs to get to our room on the third floor. This was okay for us but would be difficult with a suitcase.

We stayed in Apartment 1 at Mini Teater for a total of 3.5 weeks and I was so happy we chose this accommodation. The self-contained flat is in an historical building on a beautiful street right in the heart of Ljubljana. The atmosphere there is indescribable - so peaceful with such a good vibe. It was wonderful to be able to stay in such an old and interesting place - but while the building is old, the facilities have been updated to a high standard. For medical reasons, we had to cook all our meals in the apartment kitchen and I had everything I needed to do so. I even made bread and cakes there. Lidl is a 5 minute walk away on Congress Square and Maxi Market is nearby at about a 6-7 minute walk. The staff at Mini Teater were all so friendly and approachable and I would especially like to thank our host, who was such a top gent and went out of his way to help us. Any issues that cropped up he immediately resolved with a pleasant and kind manner. He truly made the trip. I would strongly recommend Mini Teater to anyone travelling to Ljubljana.
Not dislikes but points to be aware of:
- the apartment doesn't have a washing machine but there is a Speed Queen coin laundrette 5-7 minutes walk away along Rimska-cesta
- the street Mini Teater is on is pedestrianised so ask taxis/airport transfers to drop you off at the Napoleon Monument by Krizanke. It's then a 1 minute walk to the accommodation past the City Museum
