Our experience with this property was extremely disappointing, particularly regarding the cleanliness, accuracy of the listing, and the host’s handling of the situation. Upon arrival, we experienced difficulties locating the property because the listing did not provide any exterior photographs or clear visual information that would allow us to identify the property easily. When we contacted the host for assistance, he informed us that he was at the hospital with his mother and asked us to wait. As I was already at the location and only needed guidance to identify the property, I eventually had to resolve the issue myself. The host later sent the location, but no exterior photographs were provided. Upon entering the property, we immediately noticed a strong smell of paint throughout the house. We also discovered that the property consisted of three floors, which was not clearly stated in the listing. Furthermore, the listing indicated that there were two bathrooms, whereas the property actually has one full bathroom and one separate toilet, meaning it does not provide two bathrooms as advertised. The most serious issue was the condition and cleanliness of the property. The entire house was heavily covered in dust and appeared not to have been properly cleaned for a considerable period of time. There was a strong smell of dust throughout the property, and the bedding was also visibly covered in dust. Whenever the sheets were moved, a significant amount of dust became airborne, to the point that we could feel and taste the dust in our throats. We immediately contacted the host and informed him of the condition of the property. He stated that he had cleaned the property completely that same day and that he had put considerable effort into doing so. However, the actual condition of the property did not reflect this.
