The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well maintained. It is also very centrally located, which made getting around very convenient. There are several restaurants, a supermarket, and a bakery right next to the apartment, as well as a larger supermarket not far away. Everything you need is within easy reach, which we really appreciated during our stay.
The apartment is located on a very busy street, so it can be VERY noisy, especially at night. As it was very warm during our stay, we had to sleep with the windows open, which made it difficult to get a good night’s rest.
A few small additions, such as paper towels and coffee creamer, would also be appreciated.
At the entrance of the building, the light switch is not very easy to find, and once the light is on, it does not stay on for very long. There is also a noticeable and rather unpleasant mouldy smell in the entrance area of the building.
Finally, we felt that the host may have had some difficult experiences with previous guests, and this came across quite strongly when we arrived. While we completely understand the need to protect the property and set clear expectations, a slightly warmer and more diplomatic approach would make new guests feel more welcome and at ease.
