The homestay is run by locals (Eggy and his mum, who makes a lovely daily breakfast), so you get an authentic sense of the local way of life. The room itself is spacious and decent enough. As cat lovers, we love Eggy's menagerie of ginger cats and kittens. We also appreciate that clean drinking water is provided everyday. Eggy's neighbours and relatives were also very kind and helpful to us.
The neighbourhood is quite dirty (narrow roads full of trash and rubble, open burning of trash, ongoing construction, etc.) as well as filled with aggressive stray dogs. So don't expect a comfortable environment beyond the homestay itself.

Très bien pour quelques nuits et situe à 35-50min a pieds des plages Pantai Tanjung Aan, Tanjung Aan et Warna Rasa, si vous aimez marcher à pieds c’est top.
Le petit dej était top et le personnel très sympa, ils vont aiderons à trouver un scooter taxi etc
Impossible de dormir sans bouchons d’oreilles donc pensez y, entre la mosquée, les chiens, les coqs et les scooters il y a énormément de bruits

De ouders van Eggy zijn onwijs lieve mensen, die alles voor je regelen. En een heerlijk ontbijt voor je maken elke ochtend. De kamer is netjes, het bed ligt lekker en de badkamer is fijn. De douche is koud, maar gezien de temperatuur buiten is dat alleen maar fijn.
Gerupuk zelf heeft geen mooi strand, alles ligt vol met afval. En vergeet geen oordopjes mee te nemen.
