This home has a great view of the lake and is in a nice quiet area. We experienced a minor issue of the access code provided not working and having to spend an hour and fifteen minutes on the phone in order to gain access but didn't allow that to sour our trip. The local person we were finally contacted by was pleasant. The yard has a large open area for the allowed dogs and the dock access area would be great later in the season when the water isn't quite so chilly as there are stairs that lead down into the water. We accidentally left an item in the house when check out and it was promptly mailed to us which we appreciated greatly. Will certainly consider staying here again on future trips.

Cabin was set in a very nice area. Beautiful view of the lake. Access to lake was tricky. Could not plug in the patio lights on the back deck. TV's didn't work properly due to poor communication between owner and rental agency. Fire place didn't work. With these things being somewhat minor, I highly recommend Moosehead Lodge for a peaceful getaway. Plenty of activities to do in the area such as moose tours, sea plane tours, hiking and waterfalls. Loved Moxie Falls and Prongs Pond was the nicest lake Ive ever kayaked and fished.
