The enthusiastic hospitality of our hosts, Danielle and Jeff, was palpable even before our arrival! They thought of everything to make our stay both memorable and comfortable. Clark Manor showcased luxury linens, Egyptian cotton sheets, plush towels, and premium bath amenities. The home was reminiscent of days gone by which thrilled my family as we uncovered surprise touches in every room. There was the interplay of “Light House / Dark House” themes throughout Clark Manor intertwined with the uniquely named and inspired bedroom suites. The “Light House” was bright, airy, and spacious featuring two double beds plus its own kitchenette and vintage fridge the perfect place for an out of the way breakfast or lunch! The Dining Room was inviting and spacious for all wanting to share an upscale dining experience. “Dark House” had a beautiful, luxury bedroom and an 1850’s inspired claw and foot bathtub/shower bathroom retreat. The “piece de resistance” of the “Dark House” was the Speak Easy lounge that created a cozy vibe for our after dinner cocktails. The main kitchen featured a variety of glassware, dishes, and utensils perfect for hosting a grand party. The kitchen’s coffee and tea bar was well-stocked, providing everything anyone would want seeking a hot beverage!
