Welcome to Eagles’ Haven, a brand-new luxury retreat completed in 2025. Set on 130 private acres in Sutherlin, VA, this 5BR/4BA home overlooks a peaceful pond- perfect for relaxing getaways. Designed by an experienced Superhost, it blends comfort and style in a serene nature setting. Enjoy quiet mornings on the deck overlooking the beautiful pond, hiking on the property, catch and release fishing, and exploring the natural surroundings. If you’re lucky, you may spot our nesting bald eagles!
Whether you’re here for a family getaway, wedding weekend, casino trip, or motorsports event, Eagles’ Haven offers space, privacy, and elevated amenities in a truly special setting.

Eagles’ Haven was designed with both connection and comfort in mind. Inside, you’ll find:
5 spacious bedrooms (Including two king suites) & 4 full bathrooms
A fully equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking meals together
Large dining table ideal for group meals and celebrations
A welcoming living room with plenty of seating
A basement game room / media room for movie nights and friendly competition
Families will especially love the kids’ bunk room, cozy play nook, and an abundance of toys and board games, making this home equally enjoyable for adults and children.

***PLEASE NOTE*** You are required to sign a rental agreement prior to accessing the house. You will not be given access to the house until the rental agreement is signed. The rental agreement will be sent to you at the time of booking. A refundable security deposit of $300 is required prior to your stay. The security deposit is refunded given no major damages occur and house rules are followed.
Things to Note:
• The home is located on a private, rural 130-acre property and is accessed by a long gravel driveway. The driveway is not lit at night and includes some uneven areas, gentle hills, and a tree lined approach.
• No recreational vehicles are permitted on the property, including ATVs, four-wheelers, side-by-sides, or similar vehicles.
• No parties or events are allowed, and no additional guests are permitted unless discussed and approved in advance.
• No smoking is allowed in the home, on the deck, or on the patio.
• The pond is available for catch and release fishing only. Swimming or entering the pond is not permitted.
_ No shooting, hunting or trapping.
- No access to outbuildings.
• A few owner closets are locked and off-limits to guests.
• For security purposes, there are three exterior cameras facing the driveway and walkway. These monitor sound and motion only and are not located inside the home.
GUIDED PRIVATE FISHING EXPERIENCE ADD ON:
Take your fishing experience to the next level with a private, on-site fishing lesson at Eagles Haven. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your skills, our experienced fishing guide will meet you at the property for a personalized two-hour session on the pond.
Your guide will provide all bait and tackle needed and offer one-on-one instruction tailored to your experience level. Learn the basics of casting, bait selection, fish behavior, and techniques designed to help make your time on the water as enjoyable and successful as possible.
This experience is perfect for families, children, first-time anglers, or anyone wanting to gain confidence before heading out on their own.
Cost: $200 per group

This gorgeous property was perfect and fit our family's needs. The property and grounds are picturesque and the lake is simply beautiful. The area is remote and serene. Perfect for anyone looking for a retreat getaway. The weather was rainy during our stay so we could not take advantage of the outdoor living spaces but we have said we would love to do a return trip. The indoor living space is impeccably decorated and equipped with everything you would need. Rebecca was amazing and very responsive---even accommodating an earlier check in. The check in process was seamless. I would highly recommend this property.

This home was very close to my son’s wedding venue. This was perfect for our family to be close to the venue and to be together for this very special occasion! This home was beautiful and our host was very accommodating. We enjoyed bird watching, fishing and saw the bald eagles daily. We hope to return as a family for much needed time together.

This secluded nature retreat is absolute perfection. Tucked away in peaceful surroundings, the property offers complete privacy, breathtaking scenery, and the kind of quiet you just can’t find in everyday life.
Mornings were magical — sipping coffee while surrounding yourself in complete stillness. The sounds of birds chirping and the occasional wings fluttering, were so soothing. Evenings were just as special with a warm fire, soft music, and total relaxation.
The accommodations were beautiful, cozy, and every detail was thoughtfully anticipated. It was a wonderful time of connection. We had a great time playing board games and cards, cooking in the gorgeous kitchen together, and walking through the trails on the property.
I would highly recommend if you are looking for a relaxing get-away or a place to spend time with family.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house had every attention to detail and everything was awesome. We saw otters, wild mallard ducks and bald eagles. The views from the porch to the pond were magnificent. We hiked on the nature trails. At night we could sit on the porch and the stars reflecting off the pond were magical.
