This unique brick home has a style all its own. Built in 1850 by an Irish candlemaker, this house has all the character and charm you’d expect in a historic neighborhood with all the updates and modernization you’d want for a comfortable stay.
Just a 10 minute drive to Lynchburg General, Liberty University, University of Lynchburg, and Randolph College. The best part is that you`ll be a 5 minute walk to all of the cute shops, great restaurants, and beautiful sights of downtown.
This listing is for the top portion of the house, but not the terrace level apartment (which is its own separate space and separate listing).
There may be guests staying in the basement apartment during your stay, so we always ask guests in all parts of the house to be considerate of noise. The longer driveway on the far left of the house is for this listing. The shorter driveway is for guests in the bottom floor apartment.
Please do not smoke in the house or anywhere on the property. This includes vaping.
Fireplaces are not functional and are decorative only.
Please do not flush any sanitary items or wipes down the toilet.
Please do not dump any grease down the drain.

We had such a wonderful stay in Lynchburg! The location was perfect -- we were able to walk downtown with ease, and the neighborhood was quiet, charming, and peaceful. The home itself was beautiful, and we were pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. Our only regret is that our schedule was so busy that we didn't get to enjoy the space as much as we would have liked!Everything was spotless, and communication with the host was easy, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. We would absolutely stay here again and hope to be back soon!
