About this house rental
The farm’s history dates back to 1610, while the main house was rebuilt after a fire in the 1800s. Under the thatched roof, you’ll find old doors, patterned wallpaper, antique furniture, and small details that seem to each hold a story of their own. The decor takes you back to another era, yet the house also offers all the modern amenities you’ll need during your stay. The spacious kitchen provides plenty of room to cook together, and in the dining room, you can gather around the table beneath the chandelier. Perhaps your phones will stay put a little longer than usual while you light some candles, pull out a game, or let the conversation flow. When you arrive, we'll have made the beds and readied the towels. Outside, the kids can explore the garden, swing, jump on the trampoline, or play on the lawn. In the courtyard, you can settle in among the flowers and greenery, and on cool evenings, you can gather around the campfire as darkness falls over the fields. The area around Nolde is perfect for walks and bike rides along the fields and the stream. Tønder is about 12 kilometres away, with its old houses, charming streets, and Drøhses Hus. You can also visit Møgeltønder, stroll down the beautiful castle street, and stop by Schackenborg Castle and the café in Herskabsstalden. Nolde’s Cozy Home is for those of you who long for peace, space, and time together—and for holiday days where everything’s welcome to move a little slower.
