Stay at this romantic abode, a beautiful hideaway set within nine acres of picturesque woodland and countryside. Sleeping just two guests, the one-bedroom, single-storey retreat offers cosy accommodation with an abundance of character. Situated near Poughill, 2.5 miles from Bude, it is ideal for energetic walks out along the South West Coast Path, as well as days spent lounging on the beach or dipping in the sea pool at Summerleaze.

Step inside via the stable door to find yourselves in a quaint, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. With a friendly country style, this property has been thoughtfully equipped with everything you might require during your special stay. Put the kettle on to make a cup of tea and enjoy one of the freshly baked Cornish scones from your welcome pack. Unpack any fresh Cornish produce you have bought yourself and prepare a romantic meal for two in the kitchen area. Dine in style at the table before cuddling up on the sofa in front of the Smart TV. At the end of each magical day away, take a step up from the lounge to your exquisite bedroom, with its four-poster double bed. This has an en-suite bathroom where you can luxuriate in a long, hot bubble bath before enjoying a superb night’s sleep. Explore the shared scenic grounds on which this delightful cottage is set. There is a shared laundry room and the cottage comes with parking for one car.

Make a picnic and spend the day at beautiful Widemouth Bay, 5.5 miles away. Plan a day out to Tintagel, 20.5 miles away, to see the castle where King Arthur was supposedly born and the cave in which Merlin the magician is said to have lived. Dramatic Bodmin Moor, 18.5 miles away, makes for another fabulous excursion.
