I stayed at Hotel Soladeo for a few nights while visiting Taormina and was overall satisfied with my stay.
The hotel is family-run, and the hosts were always friendly and helpful. My room was spacious, very clean, and functionally furnished. While the decor is fairly simple, everything was well maintained, and the bed was comfortable.
The location worked well for me, with Corso Umberto reachable in about a 10-minute walk. The breakfast buffet offered a good selection and provided a solid start to the day.
One thing to be aware of is that it can be a bit noisy early in the morning due to garbage collection or returning, which passed by at around 4:45 a.m. every night during my stay. This is obviously outside the hotel’s control but may be worth considering if you are a light sleeper.
Overall, Hotel Soladeo offers good value for money and is a solid choice for a stay in Taormina.

What can I add to the various reviews about this hotel! Absolute wonderful place and service by everyone and would highly recommend to anyone thinking on visiting Taormina.
The warmth and welcome from the staff from the minute when we arrived was exceptional. Transfer to and from hotel to airport was kindly arranged as well as breakfast for our early morning departure.
The room was comfortable and clean and as for the breakfast choice - Bellissimo! And thank-you for a memorable stay. You are a testament to the Sicilian people.

A spotlessly clean hotel . It is comfortable and the hotel staff were all so warm and friendly and they couldn’t do enough for us. They were helpful in terms of every aspect and there was always a smile on their face. The breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice. We were so pleased with our choice and in our opinion it is worthy of a much higher rating than 2*. I would definitely come back here
