Sandra was a wonderful host and made both me and my dog, Pochie, feel very welcome. I only stayed for one night, but she was incredibly helpful, even offering to pick me up from the pub I was going to. The room is beautiful, full of character and old-world charm. I’d happily stay again.

A very welcoming home from home, run by the charming and kindly Sandra. Fascinating house full of history, with turning stairs and exposed beams aplenty - at the same time equipped with every mod con you could think of! Fantastic value and an extraordinary place to visit, and super convenient for the very pleasant town of Halstead.
