Spacious apartment in convenient location. Facilities were limited.

Location was very convenient and the apartment was very spacious. Beds were nice and comfortable. Off-street parking was really good (tight space but good to be in secure garage).

Stove top was broken (literally had a massive crack in it) and a replacement 2 burner electric stove was on top instead. This was not very efficient at cooking and our only way to cook as the oven didn't work and there was no microwave. Gate fob for garage was not the same as the photos and didn't work. We notified the host of this. Also, there was only one key for 5 people which was rather inconvenient when we went out at different times. Not sure there was really enough crockery for 5 people (more mugs would have been good!) Drying rack was broken, so we had no where to hang washing. No toilet brush in the ensuite.

Disappointing stay!

I like how spacious the property was, lots of space inside, has the potential to be an outstanding property.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing stay from start to finish. On arrival, there were no garage keys as advertised, and we were instructed to rummage through a storage room containing tools and other items to try to find them. We eventually found one key but were still left without the garage key, meaning we had to wait around an hour before we could access the car park. The apartment was also not as advertised or as clean as expected, with wet washing left spread around the living room when we arrived. The pictures advertised make the property look stunning, unfortunately basic blue bed sheets were on the very uncomfortable beds, nothing like pictured at all. There was no hot water from the bathroom tap, and the cold tap caused an extremely loud rumbling noise that shook the entire property. This happened repeatedly throughout the night, approximately every 30 minutes, keeping all three of my children awake until around 3am. I eventually had to isolate the water myself to stop the noise. To make matters worse, when we returned to the property at around 12:30am, we were unable to get inside because stones had been placed inside the lock. These had definitely not been there when we initially arrived, and given that we had already raised several complaints with the manager, this was extremely concerning. The beds were uncomfortable and the soundproofing was very poor, with traffic noise clearly audible throughout the night. Overall, the accommodation fell well below the standard we expected and resulted in a very uncomfortable and stressful stay.
