Ponpon Railway House

A small room in a very pleasant neighborhood. The accommodation was located right by a canal, and one of the city's main attractions—the Inari Shrine—was nearby. This means you get to stay in a quiet area while remaining close to bustling tourist spots, which is very convenient. There are also several train stations close by, making it quick and easy to reach the city center as well as other destinations (such as Nara and Osaka). A large store with good prices is located nearby (about a 5-minute walk away), and there is also a 24-hour convenience store close by. The accommodation itself was comfortable and equipped with everything necessary

On one side of the house there are railway tracks. Our windows faced the opposite side and did not cause us any inconvenience, but for people with sensitive sleep, earplugs should be with them. There is a washing machine in the room, but there is not enough room for hanging drying clothes, so I advise you to use the nearest laundry for drying clothes after washing.

Clean room with all you need plus washing machine in great location for good price… Very nice and helpful people…

No bowl for microwave, no caserolle for cooking, but no biggie… Everything else great..!

Located very close to some historical landmarks and great temples.

It is very close to railways and I would not recommend if you are a light sleeper.

The accommodation is perfectly located and just a short distance from the station. The host welcomed us with a gift, which was a very nice gesture. It also comes with a washing machine, which was a fantastic bonus for us.

Unfortunately, the nearby station has a downside: you can hear everything. The walls are paper-thin, so we often heard noises from the surroundings. If you are sensitive to ambient noise, you might find it hard to fall asleep. The wall decorations were peeling off and falling down; the room would have looked nicer if it were just plain white.
