Clean, modern and spacious room with queen bed in a quiet building and area of Canberra. Accessible by Uber or tram (5 minute walk from Macarthur Avenue Light Rail Station if you want to get into Civic, but be aware that it is not within the CBD area). The kitchen included a gas stove, toaster, kettle, microwave and oven. 10 minute drive from Civic and Canberra Centre shopping mall and 15-20 minute drive to the Parliamentary Triangle. I also appreciated the full inverter aircon unit, particularly as it was sub-zero some nights.
The furniture could have been more comfortable, particularly the sofa and dining chairs. The exterior of the property could also have been a little cleaner. The television remote was a bit hard to use but it does have cable, you just won't be able to airplay or watch Netflix. There was a minor issue with check-in, but the owner resolved it quickly, so it wasn't a major inconvenience.
