There was a lot of space. Many bedrooms and the pool was a big hit. Lots of towels! The arcade games were fun too.
There was also a lot wrong. Not clean - the cleaners had to come back because there were cigarettes and a party mess still left when we checked in. There was one table to eat at... On the top floor. That floor didn't have any of the cooking appliances so you have to cook on floor 2 or grill on floor 1 and then take it all the way up to eat on floor 3. Also no dishwasher on floor 3 so you eat there and then have to bring everything back down to the other floors to clean. No salt and pepper or dish soap. Sauna didn't work. Gunshots and arrests were active nearby. Not a safe neighborhood but there are cameras on the property and they have a high fence in the backyard. There is mold all over the pictures in the kitchen on floor 2... Makes me wonder if the house is safe or if there is a mold problem in general. Temps were all over. One room would be freezing while the next is 20 degrees warmer. It was hard for everyone to be comfortable. Street and neighborhood noise with sirens was something that kept us up at night. The booking.com listing does not state that you will be required to put down a $1000 down payment/hold until you leave for incidentals. They surprised me with this. The other option was a non-refundable fee. I think it was $200 or something. It felt very shady. They don't practice transparent business practices and when I contacted customer service the man I spoke to was rude and condescending. He argued with me telling me I was wrong and didn't know what I was talking about with regard to the posting... Even though booking.com customer service had already told me NOT to pay them anything because it does not say in the listing that I should have to pay anything further. We made the best of it because we were celebrating a milestone birthday but I would NOT recommend this place or this company.
