The property is the middle floor of a large house (tenant on ground floor) . It has a stunning outlook to Piha Beach, especially from the sunny deck.
Bedrooms are large & comfortable. The fireplace next to the lounge was appreciated as the night was chilly.
A steep walk on the road down to the beach & shops; or 3 min drive. Extra Beach towels appreciated.
We were 2 couples and the accommodation was perfect for a Piha weekend getaway. Peaceful, sunny, great view.
We were mindful of needing to be extra quiet for the tenant downstairs especially after 10pm.
The top thirdfloor is an empty space with a bathroom, but not very accessible.
Lounge layout & fireplace is a bit strange but comfortable enough & is true to photos.

Great view from the balcony
Very dirty.
Broken/old/run-down furnishings and furniture.
Unfriendly hostess who was completely unhelpful when we pointed out the situation (yes, she will certainly try to make excuses, as she showed no understanding whatsoever to us). The pictures shown here of the accommodation do not match what we saw.
We wanted a free cancellation and contacted Booking, but the host refused.
