This condo is in a nice, quiet location close to the beach.
When we arrived Friday evening we came upon a unit that had not been cleaned. It was dirty, especially the bathroom. My husband wiped down the bathroom with heavy duty disinfectant wipes we had brought along.
I reached out to the management company with a video of the problem and they apologized and offered to have the bathroom cleaned; so I thought OK, yes, that would suffice. The next day at 2:50pm the cleaners came. My husband said when they were finished, one of the workers said “some people are just never happy”.
As if I just was being difficult!
The more I thought about that the more disappointed I became. Yea, obviously it was not as bad after my husband cleaned it, but that’s what they saw.
The management company offered to have the rest of the place cleaned too, but we figured it’s ok all our stuff was there and I was not feeling well. I should have let them, as the rest turned out to be dirtier than I previously thought.
The management company credited back the $100 cleaning fee, which we appreciate.
We cleaned the place before we left (as per the agreement).
