Loved EVERYTHING about this place. Great location, beautiful room and balcony, incredible view of the river and trains, comfortable bed and bath, spa tub, and a historic hotel within a charming, quiet neighborhood. Loved they provided earplugs, and loved even more that they were not needed. We really enjoyed watching the trains, sailboats, tugs and barges, as well as two freighters traveling the river. Great view of a sweet lighthouse, too. We stayed two nights here and hated to leave.

The hotel is gorgeous. My room was beautiful, clean, and the view was amazing. Trains were barely noticeable. The area is beautiful, the railroad bridge, the party room downstairs with the porch, absolutely charmimg. I loved the wood floors, floor tile, vintage rug next to to the tub, and the bedding, bath products, decor were perfect. I think the owners are doing a beautiful job restoring the place. The ouside balconies were wonderful. I read my book out there while the lights came on over the river and had coffee the next morning.

Interesting location along the railroad tracks. Wonderful old building. Very quiet. Nice restaurant across the street with a coffee cafe a block away. We appreciated the coffee and tea availability along with water and breakfast bars. Would highly recommend. All the best as the owners continue to expand their property.
