Wouldn't take card payment and tried to get my PIN code. Avoid avoid avoid.

Good location

Beware. Very dodgy property that felt unsafe. They demanded cash only, and tried to get my PIN code without my consent. I felt uncomfortable for the whole stay. They would not accept card payment and demanded cash. This was only communicated after they had taken me to my room. They then called their manager and put me on the line with someone who insisted it was on the terms of booking. It was not. They then asked for my booking PIN code and when I refused to give it, he then insisted he could show me that the booking said cash only, and said they could find the page on my phone. He could not because it was not there but he navigated to a page which showed my PIN code which he then pointed out. He was very upset when I pulled my phone away so he could not see it. After getting another male staff (this all took place in my room) who also insisted he could find that it said cash only (it did not) they demanded I cancel the room and book another one which would accept card payment at a different price that they would not disclose and so long as I cancelled the booking and did not post a review. In the end, I paid for cash for the first night only which was the amount of cash I had on me, but they insisted I take a different room. It was not clean and had a very strong odour. There was no receipt of payment given. I was trying to troubleshoot with booking.com while this occurred and felt unsafe, was traveling alone as a female with 2 children. Booking.com could not solve this in a.timely manner, hence solving this as quickly as I could myself. I had other very good experiences in Malaysia. Avoid this one and stay somewhere else.

Great time ever

I had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and really comfortable and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and the host was friendly and responsive. Check-in was smooth and I really appreciated the attention to detail. Overall I have a pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended to others

I had a wonderful stay. The place was clean and really comfortable and exactly as described. The location was convenient, and the host was friendly and responsive.
