Great photos, terrible reality.
N/A
We stayed at Divine Villas Bali (Villa 5), which is managed by Numa PropertyManagement, and unfortunately our experience was extremely disappointing.
The biggest issue was that the property looked completely different from the photos advertised (poor upkeep & maintenance). The images gave the impression of a well-maintained, luxurious villa, but the reality was quite the opposite.
On arrival, the villa was noticeably unclean. It genuinely felt as though the only preparation prior to our stay was changing the bed linen. The floors throughout the villa had not been properly cleaned, the toilets were dirty, and the bathrooms were very average and not presented to an acceptable standard.
The kitchen was overrun with ants which I had to remove prior to being able to use it and some of the pillows in the downstairs bedroom were visibly dirty, which was particularlyconcerning from a hygiene perspective.
The condition of the villa was so disappointing that we chose to leave after just one night rather than stay for the remainder of our booking.
We contacted Numa Property Management to explain our concerns and request some form of refund for the unused nights, but they refused to offer any assistance or compensation despite the issues we experienced stating that “it was clean when they checked & our booking was non refundable” which I understand however when the property is so different in condition to the photos I think there should be some middle ground.
Overall, this property did not match the standard advertised, and the lack of cleanliness, misleading photos, and poor customer service made for a very disappointing experience.
We cannot recommend Divine Villas Bali (Villa 5) or the way it is managed by Numa Property Management, and we hope these issues are addressed so future guests receive the experience that is being advertised for the premium price they are paying.
