Well maintained old property and you can see how much time, money and effort has gone into preparing it as a lovely holiday home. Modern wedge shaped kitchen with microwave, toaster, oven, fridge, dishwasher and washing machine, ironing board and high chair in cupboard. Has crockery, cutlery and cooking equipment. Mini milk bottle was in fridge to make a few coffees or teas. Coffee, tea, sugar sachets, salt and pepper on table in living room. Complementary choccy biccies. Bring your own breakfast cereal or purchase from local Spar. Large modern bathroom off main bedroom with plenty of towels provided and deep bath with 2 shower heads over. Hand wash and body wash provided. Bring your own shampoo and conditioner etc. We were able to park opposite on the road outside for free as there was room for 2 cars. Might be slightly tight if you have a huge car but there are other roads nearby. Front door opens directly onto road so be careful. Easy access and instructions given for keys and convenient for Much Wenlock town centre with amenities within walking distance including a Spar shop with post office, pubs, a chinese takeaway and shops. Property has Wifi, TV and DAB radio. 2nd bedroom has travel cot and what I think was a fold up sofa chair and also a desk. We appreciated the large pedestal fan although it was not stifling in the house anyway despite the warm weather. Has outside mini courtyard with table and 2 chairs so we got a chinese takeaway and sat outside in the evening. We arrived Sunday afternoon and it was quiet. Get in early if wanting to eat out on Sunday evening as many places had stopped serving food by the time we went out. Town was still quiet on Monday morning but apparently does get busy at other times.

Nothing to dislike for us as a couple with no children, and we had the ability to climb the steep narrow steps on the staircase. Not suitable for people with limited mobility and requires stairgates top and bottom of stairs and a fire guard if bringing a small toddler, as there is a log burner, ash bucket and matches within easy reach of inquisitive kids. My only other suggestion to the owner would be to add a grab rail to aid getting in and out of the bath. A clock above the fireplace would be wonderful (just a suggestion) but there was one in the kitchen.

Much Wenlock has lots to offer. Plenty of shops, tea rooms and pubs.

More toilet roll & spare towels to be available. I requested these and got some later on in the day so was greatly appreciated and perfect. Will be back soon.

It reminded me of my old cottage years back. Everthing was high spec & well finished. Very comfortable & clean
