Aspasia and Spyros are the most amazing hosts. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip to the island of Rhodes. We rented a car as we love a bit of an adventure and made our way to Apolakkia. Appolakkia is a quieter part of the island but there is lots of beautiful places to see there. We went on day trips to Lindos and to the ancient city of Kamiros. Grandma Stella's old house is a great place to stay if you want to visit places off the beaten track. The house is very beautiful and traditional and full of history. The space is so authentic, welcoming and warm and we didn't want to leave. There is an excellent resturaunt just around the croner called Manolis, the staff there are very welcoming. We reccomened to try the muscles, we got them two nights of our trip. But you could just as easily stay in the house and cook for yourself too, there is everything there that you would need to make a wonderful meal. Aspasia and Spyros really care about their guests and make sure there is everything you need for your stay to be comfortable. It really is like staying in Grandma's house! Food in the fridge and even spare tooth brushes should you have forgotten yours. Aspasia is very talented and makes her own pomegranate marmalade and liqueur, with fruit fresh from their farm. They made our stay very special and brought us to see the sun set on Monolithos. We are already thinking of ways to come back. Thank you for everything and espeically your warm hospitality. See you again in the future ♥️
